Google Ads

Our websites use the Google Ads conversion tracking and Google Ads remarketing services of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’). We use Google Ads conversion tracking to record specific user actions (such as ad clicks, page calls, downloads) and analyze them. We use Google Ads remarketing to show you individualized advertising messages for our products on Google partner websites.

For this purpose, both services use cookies and similar technologies. The data collected in this context may be transferred to a server in the USA for analysis and stored there by Google. In the case of the transfer of personal data to the USA, Google has acceded to the EU-US Privacy Shield.

If you use a Google Account, Google may – depending on the settings saved in your Google Account – associate your web browser and app history with your Google Account and use information from your Google Account to personalize ads. In the case of the transfer of personal data to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield. If deactivation is done at the domain or cookie level, it will remain in effect for all tracking tags implemented using Google Tag Manager.

For more information, see the privacy policy and Google’s additional information about Tag Manager.

We use ‘visitor action pixels’ from Facebook Inc (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or, if you are located in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (‘Facebook’)) on our website. This makes it possible to track the behavior of users after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, meaning we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, which is why we are informing you based on our knowledge of the situation. Facebook may associate this information with your Facebook account and use it for its own promotional purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s data usage policy https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. You may allow Facebook and its partners to place ads on and off Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes. You can object to the collection of your data by the Facebook pixel or the use of your data for the purpose of displaying Facebook ads by contacting the following address: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus guarantees compliance with European data protection legislation (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).

LinkedIn conversion tracking and insight tags

The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a piece of lightweight JavaScript code that we have added to our websites to enable detailed campaign reporting and to help us unlock valuable insights about our website visitors. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to track conversions, retarget website visitors, and unlock additional insights about members who interact with our LinkedIn ads.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of metadata such as IP address information, timestamp and events such as page views. All data is encrypted. The LinkedIn browser cookie is stored in the visitor’s browser until the visitor deletes the cookie or until the cookie expires (six months from the last time the visitor’s browser loaded the Insight Tag).

You can turn off cookies from LinkedIn on your LinkedIn settings page and recommend reading their Cookie Policy for more information.
